Discussion Starters

Monday—Why does God invoke the image of a shepherd to describe what it means to be king? Read John 10:11-18. What is a good shepherd in God’s eyes? How does this inform how we must see leadership?

Tuesday—Read Psalm 100:3 in light of Revelation 1:5-6. What does it mean that he made us? How does belonging to his kingdom change your identity? How does it affect your life?

Wednesday—What does it mean that Jesus knows you by name? Is that a scary thought or a comforting one? Why?

Thursday—What does is it mean to know the Lord? (v. 3) What does it mean to bless his name? (v. 4) Do you know the Lord well enough?

Friday—What does serving God look like? (v. 2) Is serving easy or costly? What model has Jesus give you for how to serve others?
